Sales Administrator required for Main Motorcycle Dealership in Welwyn Garden City!
Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join their busy and enthusiastic team in the Welwyn Garden City area. We are seeking an experienced Sales Administrator who has previous motor-dealer experience, who is focused, has a great work ethic and possesses a passion and genuine enthusiasm.
Standard customer service is not enough, you will genuinely want to take ownership of our customers needs, wants and desires, youll want to get fully involved with dealership events and rides, both on and off site. We live and breathe Motorcycles, to us this is far more than just a place of work.
Main duties include, but are not limited to:
To ensure the accurate, timely and efficient administration of all new and used motorcycles for the dealership bike sales department.
All companys policies & procedures, agreed manufacturer guidelines and other legal, tax, audit and statutory requirements must be complied with.
To provide accounts support and administration cover across the group as required. This will include daily banking requirements for the dealership.
Prepare and complete all sales invoices in a timely manner. Check for accuracy on process, tax and non-revenue items, on the road packs; deposits and part exchanges, and all related items. Ensure routing to appropriate departments.
Create and maintain files for all used motorcycles and DMS, showing vehicle details, written down values and excess allowances if required. Maintain up to date records showing retail motorcycles, trade motorcycles and reconditioning costs.
Through AFRL, arrange customer registration numbers raise requisitions and progress their authorisation from payment of vehicle excise licences (when required); request and complete V55 forms for any relevant vehicle; ensure forms and payments are processed in a timely manner. Supply logbooks for motorcycles as required.
You will be required to help along side the accounts team also so previous dealings with accounts would be beneficial but is not a necessity.
Successful applicants must have previous sales admin experience within the automotive industry. Kerridge experience would be advantageous.
Working hours are 9.00am - 6.00pm with a competitive salary. There is potential to grow and develop within the family owned business with 7 locations across the UK.
This position is located in Welwyn Garden City so applicants must be a commutable distance from the area and have motor trade experience.
