Due to retirement our client a large nationwide provider of automotive aftermarket services and products is currently looking for a Regional Claims Assessor to cover the South Wales, Bristol, and Gloucestershire region.


You will be reporting to the Field Assessment Manager and will work in a mobile capacity from home as well as on the road. You will be primarily responsible for providing an efficient and effective claim assessment service to our client and its external customers by conducting vehicle inspections, audits and investigations within the aforementioned region.


In order to be eligible for this role you will require:

Strong recent technical background within in the motor vehicle repair sector.
Minimum of full technical Motor Vehicle City and Guilds qualification or equivalent.
Ideally a membership to the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, the Society of Operations Engineers, or the Institute of Engineering Assessors.
Full clean UK driving licence with minimal points.

As well as the above will need to have excellent verbal/written skills and be IT literate. You will need good relationship management and networking skills given you shall frequently be liaising with senior managers from external customers of our client. You will also need to have strong organisational/planning skills with a proactive get up and go mentality given you shall predominantly be working unsupervised in a mobile capacity.


For your hard work our client is offering

Starting basic salary of up to 30,000 per annum pending experience.
