Paint Sprayer required for Accident Repair centre in Blackburn
  • Location: Blackburn
  • Salary: £15-£20 per hour
  • Full-time Permanent: 40 hours covering 9am-7pm

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Paint Sprayer to join their dynamic team. The successful Paint Sprayer will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our vehicle refinishing services, ensuring that all vehicles meet our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities in this Paint Sprayer role:
  • Perform all types of vehicle paint spraying tasks.
  • Carry out smart repairs to ensure vehicles are finished to a high standard.
  • Ensure all used vehicles are refinished in accordance with our high-quality standards.
  • Maintain and operate the spray booth and associated equipment.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
  • Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired finish.
  • Apply paint coats, clear coats, and other finishes as required.
  • Inspect and rectify any defects in the paint finish.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
The successful Paint Sprayer will have:
  • Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer in a body shop environment.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle paint spraying techniques and smart repairs.
  • Ability to work to high standards with attention to detail.
  • Excellent color matching skills.
  • Familiarity with BVRLA standards and guidelines is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality workmanship.
