Some of the key responsibilities as a HGV Technician:
- Work as part of a team to maintain and repair trucks, lorries and other heavy goods commercial vehicles.
- Provide excellent service to customers within a specific geographical area.
- Undertake maintenance and repair activities, diagnose faults, and carry out tests on vehicles.
- Complete paperwork and procedures related to warranty, contract, and retail work.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimise customer costs.
- Any other duties within your capabilities as required.
- City & Guilds level 3 in HGV Maintenance
- Experience in servicing, maintenance, and repair of vehicles.
- Organised and methodical approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
- Completion of manufacturers training courses and maintenance of technical knowledge.
- Full and current UK driving license; LGV and PSV license advantageous.
- Friendly, confident, and professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure both independently and as part of a team.
