Our client is one of the UKs largest HGV dealerships with sites all over the UK. They are currently looking to add an experienced HGV technician to their team. The candidate will choose days or night shifts to suit their personal needs and will be looking at a salary of up to £40,000 plus overtime. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds however time served of 3 years+ will be considered.

Responsibilities of the successful HGV Technician: 
  • Carry out routine inspections and services.
  • Testing Vehicles in a professional and safe manner. 
  • Investigate and diagnose faults and report findings. 
  • Carrying out repairs to the current manufacturers standards. 
Requirements of the HGV Technician:
  • A Full UK license, HGV License would be desirable. 
  • Qualified to NVQ/City and Guilds Level 3 in HGV Mechanics or time served of 3 years + within the industry. 
  • Knowledge of cranes or hydraulics, and experience of working on tippers or beaver tails would be advantageous.
