HGV Technician Vacancy - Commercial Dealership Leicester
  • Location: Leicester 
  • Basic Salary: Up to £20 an hour (£47,000)
  • Shift allowance + paid overtime available.
  • 45 hours per week - No Weekends

My client, a commercial dealership in Leicester, is on the lookout for a new Technician. Although they ideally need an HGV Technician, they are offering training opportunities for Light Vehicle Technicians. 
 
From day one, you'll receive manufacturer training and support to further your career. The company will fund courses, which will future-proof your job in the industry. 

You'll be working on HGVs and occasionally LCVs when required. 
 
Responsibilities for this job:
  • Carry out inspections, maintenance, and repairs on franchised and non-franchised vehicles. This includes trailers. 
  • Defect repairs. 
  • Diagnostics via manufacturer computer tools. 
  • Completing job cards and service sheets online. 
Requirements for this HGV Technician job:
  • At Least 3 years experience in a workshop. 
  • Ideally, NVQ L3 or time served. 
  • Ideally class 1 (not required)
