Post Brexit weakening of the pound and great summer weather has seen a sharp rise in British holidaymakers staying in the UK along with a surge in overseas tourists taking advantage of great exchange rates.

Based on figures from Travelsupermarket, a holiday for a family of four from the UK holidaying in Europe will cost on average £245 more, post-Brexit than before.

It is expected that by the time we reach September, when the schools go back, that an extra 2.5 million Brits will have holidayed in the UK this year over 2015.

So with an additional (conservatively) 600,000 extra cars driving around the UK, the inevitable is bound to happen. Anyone who has been faced with a line of cars coming at you round a blind bend on a Cornish back road will know, a scratch or ding will happen!
