Last year’s blog with our Christmas Opening Hours started with “Well, what a year it has been”

If only we knew what 2020 was going to throw our way… 

This year began like any other year, we returned from our Christmas Breaks to applications galore from those whose new year’s resolution was to find a new job and calls from our clients who were looking forward to the year ahead and wanted to get their staffing in order. We hit the ground running and were here and ready to provide only the best Automotive Recruitment Service to all of those we spoke to.

I think at that point if anybody had told us all that the Whole World would be locked down come March we would have laughed at them and told them to not be so ridiculous, how wrong we would have been.

As a result of the pandemic, 2020 was really a year like no other and sadly, like so many of you, we had to shut our office doors, furlough staff and do what we could to keep things ticking over so when the world was ready we could keep on doing what we do best, providing our Award Winning Automotive Recruitment service to you, the Motor Trade.

Since we welcomed our staff back on mid-June, we have seen some amazing performances from our team. Effectively they had to restart their whole desk, taking things from 0 jobs (and lots of applicants) to where they are now, and well they have just been incredible. The team as a whole took the challenges the pandemic brought in their stride and we saw a 105% increase in new business this year, we have had the loveliest reviews from our Candidates and most importantly we have helped you, the motor trade, get back on its feet.

We were incredibly proud to be crowned Automotive Recruitment Agency of the Year for the eighth year running this year, we are absolutely humbled that our Clients took the time to vote for us as their preferred Motor Trade Supplier with everything else that was going on at the time.

We celebrated our 17th Birthday! Our mission since the day we started was to provide the Motor Trade with an unparalleled Recruitment Service and our many awards prove that we continue to do just that.

We are full of pride to be working alongside such an amazing Trade throughout what has been a challenging year for all of us. We are in awe of all of those businesses that provided PPE, that provided vehicles, that diverted their company operations to manufacture Ventilators and everyone else that did their bit to get us through this.

As we come to the end of December, our whole team wants to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We hope that however you are celebrating this year that you enjoy some downtime and the company of your loved ones. We hope that 2021 is a better year for us all and we can’t wait to work with you further.
