December 2019 - The Conclusion of Another Successful NJ20 Year

Our news

At the beginning of the year, and following the success of 2018’s inaugural Nelson’s Journey 20Twenty, we signed up to another year.

Over the last 12 months, we’ve been raising money for one of the loveliest charities in our area, possibly the UK.

Every year since it’s conception in 1998, Nelson’s Journey provides vital emotional support and care for hundreds of children and young people who have suffered the bereavement of a close relative or significant person.

In a perfect world, this charity would not exist, however, it does, and it does an absolutely amazing job.

Last year we joined forces with 19 other Norfolk Businesses, committing as a team to raise £20,000.

This year we joined up again as a 20, to raise over £30,000.

The commitment was for each business to raise £1,500.

Well... We smashed it ...…. A combination of jumping out of a plane; without a genuine need to do so, and tin rattling when we organised for Norfolk favourite Bucket List to appear outside our offices, saw Perfect Placement in NJ20 2019 raise an astonishing £3,250 for this amazing charity.

The work Nelson’s Journey does every year with Norfolk’s bereaved Children and Young People is absolutely incredible and unbelievably heart-warming; sadly there is little or no funding available save for what local businesses and donors can provide.
