The role of a Branch Manager in the Autotrade is a diverse one. As well as managing the day to day operation of the branch itself, it involves driving sales, inspiring your team and providing outstanding customer service.

Working in a Fast Fit branch is exactly that, a fast paced environment and greatly different from the environment of a Main Dealership. Fast Fit Centres deal with walk-ins as well as bookings and work to much quicker deadlines. Therefore a Branch Manager should be comfortable working under pressure and to tight timescales whilst always ensuring the highest level of service. They should bring a level of passion and energy to the position in order to maximise sales, turnover and profitability in all areas of the business.

As Branch Manager you will recruit, manage, motivate and develop staff to build a successful, effective team. You will also be responsible for managing stock control branch and running costs so a sound understanding of financials is required. Employers will be looking for someone with managerial experience within the Motor Trade. This could include a Workshop Controller, Automotive Parts Supervisor or an Assistant Branch Manager looking for the next step.

Typical working hours for a Branch Manager is around 40 hours per week and this may include working weekends depending on the needs of the business. Salary can range from £25k -30k depending on the location of the Fast Fit Centre and experience of the individual and most will have the opportunity to earn a bonus in this role.
