Today marks a very special occasion for us here at Perfect Placement as we celebrate our 16th Birthday.

What a 16 years it has been…

Formed back in 2003 by Lisa and Glenn Unstead, a daughter and father-in-law, who held a shared goal of providing a niche recruitment service to the Automotive Sector in Norfolk. Growth was rapid across the East Anglian region and new consultants were recruited with the strategy of replicating the business model across the whole of the UK.

It only took 2 years for a much-required office move as Perfect Placement quickly became the first choice for Motor Trade Recruitment across the south of England.

2007 saw another office move, this time into a larger open plan office which created our under-one-roof concept, something that proved very popular with both our Candidates and Clients alike and was in line with our Director’s vision of constantly delivering only the best levels of service possible.

2009 saw a significant investment in technology and an Automotive Recruitment reach across the whole of the UK. This saw a very successful year and a lot of hard work by the team and plans to expand even further were put into place.

2013 we were the proud winners of our first award – the Car Dealer Power Award, an award that is voted for solely by the people we supply – no other award comes with such a high accolade so we were overjoyed to have won this award.

2014 saw these expansion plans come to light – after bursting at the seams in our office we made the move into an 11,500sq/ft building which gave us all a little bit more room! With a well-established team comprised of Directors, Principal Recruitment Consultants, Regional Recruitment Consultants, Recruitment Executives and a team of Recruitment Support Administrators we continued our award-winning streak and became the proud owner of another Car Dealer Power Award. We also formed our Perfect Placement Academy with the aim of ‘Growing our Own’ Automotive Recruitment Specialists (many of whom are still with us today!)

Fast forward to 2019, with an image overhaul and continued investment in our people and technology we are proud to be 7 times winner of the Car Dealer Power Award, as well as a Motor Trader ‘Q’ award. Our desire remains unchanged – to remain the number-one choice in UK Automotive Recruitment.

The team here at Perfect Placement are so proud to be part of this amazing journey and as we look back on all we have achieved over the last 16 years and tuck into a celebratory glass of fizz and cake, we raise a glass to not only ourselves, but also the Motor Trade – it has been an absolute pleasure working with you all over the years and we look forward to many more years to come.
