As a Showroom Host, you will be the first point of contact for many customers whether that be on the phone or in person when they visit the Showroom. Your job is to welcome them and give them the best experience of the brand. For this reason it is essential that you are positive, warm and welcoming and are able to attend to their needs in a prompt and efficient way. This could include transferring them to the correct department over the phone,  offering and providing refreshments on arrival, advising the sales team of their appointment arrival and offering brochures as appropriate.

Based in a Main Dealership, you will act as a support for the wiser team ensuring that the Dealership is presented to the standards of the brand, restocking marketing materials and building relationships with new and existing customers.  A Showroom should be enthusiastic, keen to learn and be a team player. You will be expected to pass customers and suppliers onto the correct member of the Dealership team so having a full understanding of the structure of the business is key.

This is a great entry level role to the Automotive industry as you will learn many transferrable skills. The natural next steps for progression would be to Sales Executive and then Senior Sales Executive.

The average working hours for a Showroom Host are around 40 hours per week and this will generally include some weekend work. In return, you will be rewarded with a salary ranging between £16k-£18k depending on the location of the Bodyshop and experience of the individual.
