A Fast Fit Centre focuses on the repair and maintenance of light vehicles, including replacing tyres, exhausts, batteries, brakes and clutches, carrying out services and MOTS plus more. As the title suggests, a fast fit centre operates within quick timeframes, aiming to get the work done and the vehicle returned as soon as possible.

Fast fit centres can be franchised or national companies and all are fighting for customers in a very competitive market place. It is important that members of all the Fast Fit team consistently offer fast, friendly customer service at a high standard in order for them to secure repeat business and loyal customers.

Working at a Fast Fit Centre, you will be expected to work on a diverse range of vehicles; from cars, vans and light commercial vehicles to motorbikes, caravans and motorhomes. You will come across various manufacturers in this role and will have to ensure that all work meets their standards. Fast Fit Centres will work on vehicles that have been booked in but will also handle walk in’s if they have the capacity to do so. Some will also offer mobile repair services and/or a vehicle recovery service.

Most Fast Fit Centres operate Monday- Saturday and some will also open on a Sunday, meaning that some weekend working is expected, usually on a rota basis.
