Our client, a well-established and leading Commercial Vehicle Dealer Group in Southampton, is seeking an Accounts Cashier to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with 6-12 months of experience in an accounts role, and credit control experience is desirable. Due to the location, you will need to have your own transport as there is no hybrid working available.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a role with flexibility (part-time or full-time) and room to grow within a successful organisation.

Duties of an Accounts Cashier with our Client:
  • Purchase ledger and sales ledger management
  • Daily cashiering duties
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Query resolution
  • Supporting with credit control tasks
  • Intercompany accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Producing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
What our Client Expects from their Accounts Cashier:
  • 6-12 months of experience in an accounts role (essential)
  • Some credit control experience (desirable)
  • Must be able to commute to Southampton (own transport required due to location)
  • No hybrid working – office-based role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work 5 days a week with flexible hours
