HGV Technician needed in Billingham
  • Basic Salary up to £40,950.
  • OTE of up to £44,362.
  • 45 Hours per week.
  • Work with a great client of ours in a varied vole.
  • Our client is seeking both experienced HGV Technicians and applicants with experience as a Van Technician.
  • Opportunity for candidates with some experience acting as a Van Technician to upskill and train on HGV's.

Our client, a respected commercial vehicle business, is seeking a HGV Technician to join their team in Billingham.

Our client is encouraging applicants with HGV experience and those with Van experience to apply.

What will the successful HGV Technician do?
  • Inspect and repair vehicles to DVSA standards including MOT preparation and presentation to test.
  • Fault diagnosis including the use of specialist diagnostic equipment.
  • General mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Opportunity to do offsite working, including breakdown attendance.
  • Display excellent customer service and a dedication to keeping customer vehicles on the road.
The successful HGV Technician will have
  • A Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ) preferred.
  • The ability to work to a high standard.
  • Significant workshop experience.
  • The ability to work well in a team.
  • A can do attitude.
  • An awareness of the importance of Health and Safety compliance.
  • Full UK Drivers License.
  • Own set of tools.
The successful HGV Technician will get
  • Basic Salary of up to £40,950.
  • OTE earnings of up to £44,362.
