HGV Technician / Shift Supervisor required in Tamworth 
  • Basic salary up to £42,000
  • Bonus earning potential  
  • Monday – Friday 42.5 Hours
Our client is a busy Commercial Main Dealer seeking a HGV Technician / Shift Supervisor to join their team and make a positive impact within the workshop. 

For you hard work as an HGV Technician / Shift Supervisor, you will get the following:

  • 06.00am – 14.30pm and 14.00pm-22.30pm (overtime available) (inclusive of a 30-minute paid break)

  • if you are a Senior HGV Technician the basic salary can be flexible depending on your experience.
As an HGV Technician / Shift Supervisor your day-to-day duties will include but not limited to :
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard
  • Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
  • Attend vehicles at the roadside or at customer’s premises
  • Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
  • Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to
  • Follow Branch & company routines with regards to warranty, contract & retail business
  • Provide support to both parts & administration teams when required 
To be eligible for this HGV Technician / Shift Supervisor you will need the following skills, Qualifications, and experience:
  • City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent is essential
  • Experience within a fleet or commercial environment working on HGVs/LGVs
  • Safety Awareness
  • A flexible and can-do attitude
  • The ability to work in a team environment and independently 
  • HGV Class 1 Driving licence would be beneficial 
  • Own tools to suit this specific job role
