MOT Tester/Mechanic Needed in Worcestershire
  • Location: Malvern
  • Salary: Basic £27,500 - OTE £32,000
  • Working Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday to Friday
  • No Saturdays
A new vacancy has opened for an MOT Tester/Mechanic at our clients non-franchise site in Malvern. This Technician / MOT Tester role is ideal for someone looking to move out of an independent setting and onto the path to franchise tech at one of the Ford sites.

To Qualify For This Role, You Must Have:
  • Experience as a Mechanic or MOT Tester (though if you are not currently an MOT Tester but are interested in obtaining the qualification, we would still consider interviewing you).
  • IMI/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Solid experience working within a workshop environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
What's required from you as an MOT Tester / Mechanic?:
  • Carry out MOTs and diagnose any problems/faults
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify and address potential issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles.
  • Provide excellent customer service by discussing vehicle issues and repair options with customers.
