Automotive Vehicle Technician Required in the Bromley area
  • Hours: 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday only 
  • Pay:  Circa £35k Basic DOE + £8k Realistic on target earnings 
We are currently working with a well-established Motor Trade Dealership Group who have been operating the London, Kent and Surrey region for over successful 70 years and counting. Our client prides itself on the countless Automotive recognised employee industry award it has won over the past 10 years and represents 8 different vehicle manufacturers. 

They are seeking an Experienced Vehicle Technician who has at least 2 years experience within a Main Dealership; or from a similar environment, to join and support the work of their Mechanical Workshop team within a Car Dealership environment. This is a crucial role to the success of the business, as such, the rewards and benefits they offset set them apart from other Car Dealers in their local area.

Within this Vehicle Technician role your typical duties will include: 
  • Servicing vehicles – carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturers’ guidelines.
  • Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.
  • Advising the Service Receptionists about required repairs.
  • Producing time estimates.
  • Maintaining repair and service records.
  • Diagnosing the cause of a problem.
  • Repairing the problem in line with manufacturers’ standards.
  • Repairing and replacing vehicle components.
  • Testing existing and repaired systems.
