Our client, an independent garage based in the Winchester area, with a fantastic reputation locally for quality service and workmanship are currently looking to hire a Vehicle Technician to join their expanding team in a friendly automotive environment in the Winchester Area.

Our client’s site has been operating within Winchester for the last 30 years. During that time, they have built up a strong reputation and a loyal following of customers. This Garage has benefited from investment with facilities within both front of house and the workshop, ensuring a pleasant working atmosphere for any prospective employees.

They have a brand new recently built workshop and our seeking an experienced Technician that is comfortable with both general servicing, alongside cambelts & timing chain repairs.

This position is a fantastic opportunity to work with a friendly team whilst also allowing for future career development with the opportunity of obtaining an MOT Testing Licence.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client
  • Full automotive services and necessary repairs in accordance with company standards
  • Brake, Cambelt, clutch and timing belt changes / repairs.
  • Engine and gearbox stripping and fitting.
  • Diagnosing faults using computer hardware and software
  • Ensure the workshop standards are maintained at all times.
What our client expects of their Vehicle Technicians
  • Previous Automotive Repair Experience.
  • NVQ Level 3 Qualified or Equivalent, or time served.
  • A Methodical approach to vehicle repairs.
  • An MOT Testing Licence is highly beneficial.
  • An Enthusiastic, Friendly and Approachable Personality.  
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
