  • £27,000 basic salary
  • £30,000 OTE
  • Monday to Friday with Saturday Mornings on a rota basis

Our client a well-known and successful Multi-Franchised Vehicle Dealer Group are seeking a Parts Advisor in their Exeter branch.

Our client has a passion for creating & promoting a team-oriented spirit, which invests in people and strives to be the best workshop & parts department within the region.  

They have a dedicated team of Parts & Service staff supporting Technicians who can perform maintenance and repairs on all makes and models of cars. The dealership's workshop is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards. You will be a key member of the operation supporting their work.

Duties of Parts Advisor with our Client
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to our customer’s.
  • Establishing customer’s needs for required parts through conversations, diagnosis, and recommendations as appropriate.
  • Locating and ordering parts for our very busy sales and service departments.
  • Being fully conversant with procedures within the parts department.
  • Liaising and maintaining a working relationship with the suppliers.
  • Receiving, recording, and allocating parts and consumables from suppliers.
  • Communicating relevant promotions and offers to our customer’s.
  • Following warranty parts process.
  • Carrying out weekly parts stock checks.
  • Reporting any stock damages or losses.
  • Follow current procedures for returning parts to all suppliers.
What our client expects of their Parts Advisor:
  • Good administration skills.
  • Previous experience with truck vehicle parts is highly desirable, other commercial parts experience is essential.
  • To be able to always provide excellent customer service.
  • Be able to build relationships with clients.
  • Be happy to cold call.
  • To be highly organised.
  • To be able to work as part of a team.
  • Customer focused.
