  • Position: HGV Technician 
  • Location: Milton Keynes 
  • Basic Salary: Up to £22 an hour + £2 shift allowance (£53,000)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 22:00pm - 6:00am (Night Shift)

My client is a well established commercial dealership located in Milton Keynes. They're looking for a HGV Technician.

Responsibilities for HGV Technician:
  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy goods vehicles (HGVs)
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles comply with legal standards
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and timely service
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs
Requirements for this HGV Technician role:
  • C&G / NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair 
  • Experienced HGV Technicians without qualifications considered. 
  • Practical understanding of IT/Computers. 
  • Safety Aware. 
  • Commercial awareness and good understanding of a busy workshop. 
  • HGV Class 1 License preferred but not essential
