Our client, a well-established and reputable automotive repair center located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, is currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator to join their dynamic team.

With a commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of repair, this is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in their work.

As a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately assessing a diverse range of vehicles for damage, utilising the Audatex system to calculate repair costs and the necessary repair time. 

Key Responsibilities of this Vehicle Damage Assessor :
  • Conduct thorough vehicle damage assessments, utilising Audatex, and provide accurate repair cost estimates.
  • Collaborate closely with insurance engineers and customers to address inquiries and provide professional guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and apply appropriate repair methods.
  • Maintain efficient communication channels between various stakeholders to facilitate the smooth progression of repairs.
  Requirements for this Vehicle Damage Assessor:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator in the automotive repair industry.
  • Strong familiarity with Audatex and the ability to accurately calculate repair costs and timeframes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with insurance engineers, customers, and internal teams.
  • ATA qualification in Estimating preferred but not essential; willingness to undergo training and development supported by the company.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
