Vehicle Technician -  Prestige Specialist Garage
  • Basic Salary- Up to £45,000 dependent on experience 
  • Basic of up to £50,000 for Master technicians/Brand Accredited.
  • Monday-Friday 42.5 hours a week, with no weekends. 
  • Overtime Paid at time and a half.
  • Extra days holiday for every year of service.

Our client is a well known independent prestige specialist garage in Keighley. With great customer feedback and lots of repeat customers the garage is currently thriving with business. They are now looking to add an experienced technician to their top of the range workshop. 

Duties and responsibilities of the successful Vehicle Technician:
  • Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on the brands range of vehicles.
  • Work to the highest level within scheduled times to meet company, franchise and manufacturers' standards.
  • Repair, test vehicles and diagnose faults.
  • Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables whilst maintaining records and providing quality write ups for the customer and manufacturer.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area, organised and safe from hazards to 'Health and Safety'*
  • Advise and report on vehicle faults, servicing requirements including future servicing/repair requirements through the Vehicle Health Check and Video process
  • Analyze Job cards and vital information to understand the vehicles condition.

  •  A basic salary of up to £50,000 dependent on experience,  qualification level or Brand associated accreditation.

The ideal Vehicle Technician will have: 
  • A minimum of an NVQ/IMI Level 2 qualification or above. 
  • A Level 3 qualification would be desirable. ( or equivalent )
  • At least 4 years previous technician experience, whether this be main dealer or independent garage. 
  • Previous working knowledge of the brand would be preferred.
  • A Full UK Driving License. 
  • Own set of general hand tools.
