We are seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join our Client’s busy and reputable workshop in the Fareham area.

Our Client is a well-established garage that offers a wide range of vehicle services, including MOT testing, servicing, and repairs. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced MOT Tester to join a friendly team in a well-equipped and professional environment, where you will have the opportunity to earn excellent OTEs and develop your career.

As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for conducting MOT tests in line with DVSA standards, ensuring all vehicles are inspected thoroughly and efficiently. You will also be required to identify any repairs needed and communicate these with the customer and service team.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced MOT Tester with a valid MOT Licence, capable of working independently and delivering high-quality work with attention to detail.

Duties of an MOT Tester with our Client:
  • Carrying out MOT tests to DVSA standards on a wide range of vehicles.
  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately, safely, and within agreed timescales.
  • Identifying necessary repairs and communicating with the service team and customers.
  • Ensuring all MOT test logs and documentation are completed and submitted accurately.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area and adhering to health and safety regulations.
What our client expects of their MOT Tester:
  • A valid and up-to-date MOT Licence is essential.
  • Previous experience working as an MOT Tester within the motor trade.
  • A strong understanding of MOT testing standards and regulations.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with customers and the team effectively.
  • The ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Full UK Driving Licence – Preferably Clean.
