Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Vacancy - Bedford Fast-Fit Centre
  • Position: Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester
  • Location: Bedford 
  • Basic Salary: up to £34,000 + Bonus (Flexible)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • Saturday Mornings, 8:30am - 12:30pm
  • Training courses and further qualifications 
  • Uncapped monthly bonus scheme 
A well-established fast-fit centre in Bedford is looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their team.

This role will involve performing diagnostic work, repairs, servicing, and MOT testing on a range of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, a good eye for detail, and a dedication to delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
  • Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
  • Perform general servicing, maintenance, and repair work
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical issues
  • Complete relevant documentation and maintain records of work
  • Ensure health and safety standards are followed
Requirements for this Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Valid MOT Licence (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a fast-fit or similar environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet productivity targets
