  • Location: Northampton
  • Basic Salary: £27,000 + Bonus (Flexible)
  • OTE: £32,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am - 12:30pm
A reputable main dealer in Northampton is seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their team.

This role is perfect for someone who excels in providing excellent customer service and has a strong understanding of the automotive service process.

The Service Advisor will be the main point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive experience throughout the vehicle service journey.

Key Responsibilities as a Service Advisor:
  • Providing clear and detailed information regarding vehicle service and repair options
  • Handling customer inquiries, service quotes, and job estimations
  • Liaising between customers and technicians to ensure all work is carried out as planned
  • Keeping customers informed about progress and completion timelines
  • Processing payments, warranties, and related paperwork
The Successful Service Advisor will have:
  • Previous experience in a Service Advisor role within the motor trade (1 year minimum)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service under pressure
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Basic understanding of automotive repair processes
  • IT proficiency and experience with dealership management systems (preferred)
