Our client is a large automotive group with sites all over the UK who are looking for a Parts Advisor to join their team and train to be a Vehicle Damage Assessor in Sunderland.

This is initially a Parts Advisor role and when you have completed training you will be a VDA, presenting an excellent opportunity for a career change.

Candidates with any automotive Parts experience are welcome to apply, whether is as Parts Advisor, Trainee Parts Advisor, Commercial Parts or Bodyshop Parts.

Responsibilities of this Parts Advisor role:
  • Identifying parts for the workshop using the computer system.
  • Speaking to retail customers on the phone.
  • Keeping track of stock in the warehouse.
  • Administering parts orders efficiently.
  • Organise parts deliveries.
  • Help out with other aspects of the business when required.
  • Undergo training to become a Vehicle Damage Assessor, and change to that role when training has been completed.

  • Automotive Parts experience required, which can be from a dealership, commercial or bodyshop background.
  • Willing to help out with other aspects of the business.
  • Willing to undertake training and become a Vehicle Damage Assessor upon completion of the training.
  • Confident using IT systems and speaking on the phone.
