  • Starting salary up to £35-44,000 per annum plus bonus and weekend overtime providing a potential £45-60,000 annual on-target earmings. 
  • Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:30pm with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30am-4:30pm paid as overtime.

Our client is an independent automotive service centre group with multiple site across Southern England, are currently recruiting for an Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester for their site in Swindon.
 
Reporting to the Centre Manager and working as part of a friendly workshop team, you shall be primarily responsible for carrying out MOT tests on customer’s vehicles to ministry standards. You shall also diagnose and carry out associated service and repair work as well as providing overall workshop support as and when required.

In order to be eligible you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Wells and have proven experience and a background as a competent Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester either from experience gained through continued employment or an apprenticeship. You will have a friendly and approachable manner given you shall occasionally assist on the front reception desk with customer enquiries and be able to produce high quality work within specified time frames. An MOT licence and a UK driving licence with minimal points is essential to our client at this stage however if you're a qualified Vehicle Technician looking to aquire an MOT licence then please apply as our client is willing to consider this.
