  • Basic: £35,000
  • OTE: £50,000
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30- 17:30 (1 hour lunch), 1 in 4 Saturdays 08:30 – 12:30

Our client is a Multi-Site Dealership group with a larger presence within Hampshire and the Southwest covering over 50 sites and over 20 well established automotive brands, ranging from the strong volume performers to Prestige, Niche & High-End Vehicle.

They are currently seeking a Service Technician and MOT Tester for their modern workshop and showroom, with the latest equipment for all workshop needs. You will be working with a well-known, popular and reliable brand of vehicle and benefit from regular manufacturer product training.

Your duty as Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester will include:
  • Carrying out vehicle services and repairs in accordance with brand technical standards.
  • Working in accordance with brand and dealership processes.
  • Liaising directly with customers where appropriate.
  • Providing support to less experienced colleagues.
  • Attending regular training to update technical skills.
  • Ensuring that the immediate working environment is kept clean and devoid of any working practice which may be hazardous to either themselves or others.
Requirements for this Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role:
  • Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation
  • Previous work experience in a franchise dealership
  • Highly skilled in fault diagnosis and hold the relevant MOT Tester qualification.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to delivering first class customer service.
  • Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.
