  • Position: Master Technician 
  • Location: Northampton
  • Basic Salary: up to £45,000 + Bonus 
  • OTE: Circa £57,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm 
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am - 1pm

My client is a highly reputable dealership located in Northampton. They're now looking for a Master Technician to join their workshop. You will be an integral member of the aftersales team, who is responsible as a leader in the workshop. 

They are offering an excellent package with access to a lucrative bonus scheme which is guaranteed for the first 3 months while you settle in, company car scheme, various discounts and much more. As a successful main dealer, they will also look to constantly progress you and your team to ensure you are at the highest possible level of qualification. 

Master Technician Responsibilities:
  • Being a leader in the workshop, advising work and job cards, acting as a mentor and providing technical advice where required, being proactive - your input will be listened to in how you can improve the workshop and dealership as a whole. 
  • Effectively utilising the tools and equipment the workshop has to offer. 
  • Contribute to the quality culture of the dealership. 
  • Maintain workshop records, paperwork ect. 
Qualifications and Skills required for this Master Technician Role:
  • A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
  • Current experience as a Master Technician
  • MOT license preferred but not essential
  • Your own set of tools
  • A full UK driving licence
