  • Basic Salary: up to £35,000 plus bonus
  • Efficiency bonus paid on top. 
  • Monday to Friday only - 8:00am - 5:30pm.

My client is an agricultural company with fantastic site based in the countryside of Bedfordshire. They're looking to take on a Service Technician to join their workshop team, who make repairs to a variety of ATV (Quadbikes) and UTVs (Utility vehicles) as well as mowing equipment and compact tractors. 

If you're a technician who is looking to escape the city and work in the fresh air of the countryside, this is an excellent workshop to join. The workshop itself is modern and new, filled with up to date diagnostic equipment and specialist tools for your disposal. 

As Technician at this site, you'll be responsible for: 
  • Servicing and repair groundcare machinery including ATV’s, utility vehicles, mowing equipment, compact tractors and hand held machinery to manufacturer standards. 
  • Preparation of new and used machines for sale.
  • Fault diagnosis of electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, mechanical and any other fault prior to carrying out the repair.
  • Operate fault diagnostic equipment on a laptop when required
  • Technical experience is required. Would suit someone currently working in the industry or in the automotive, motorcycle or truck and bus industry looking for a slight change of career. Specific manufacturer training will be provided.
About you as a Groundcare Service Technician:
  • Ideally you will be coming from a background as technician in the Automotive industry, this can include car, bike, van or truck/bus. 
  • If you have experience working with the above mentioned agricultural / groundscare vehicles you'll be at an advantage and the salary will reflect this. 
  • Level 3 held ideally. Will consider level 2 or experience.
  • A passion for fixing things, and the will to work on a variety of equipment. 
  • Open to new training opportunities.
