- Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on various commercial vehicles and trailers to VOSA standards.
- Diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues efficiently.
- Attending roadside or on-premises customer vehicle breakdowns.
- Collaborating with the parts department to ensure timely access to necessary components.
- Complying with health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean working environment.
- Completing job cards and service sheets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Staying updated on current products through training and maintaining thorough knowledge.
- Technical Qualification – City & Guilds or NVQ in vehicle maintenance, or significant experience in vehicle repair.
- Skills – Good communication, problem-solving, customer care, and teamwork abilities.
- Experience – Proven history of working within set guidelines and meeting deadlines.
- Licenses and Qualifications – A valid driving licence is required; ADR certification is advantageous.
- Flexibility – Adaptability to perform various tasks and ability to work under pressure.
