Body Shop Technician Needed in Wigan, Manchester
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (Flexible work times available)
  • Salary: Around £40K + Overtime available
Our client, a well-established car dealership with a brand-new body shop in Wigan, is seeking an experienced all-round Body Shop Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility for a company that takes pride in exceptional customer service and delivering a smooth, pain-free buying experience for its clients.

Key Responsibilities for a Body Shop Technician:
  • Panel beating, MET (Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim), and prep and paint work
  • Repair and refurbish vehicles to the highest standard
  • Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently
  • Ensure vehicles are completed within agreed timeframes
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • Follow safety and quality control procedures
What We’re Looking For in a Body Shop Technician:
  • Strong experience as a Body Shop Technician, with expertise in panel beating, MET, and prep and paint
  • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Full UK driving license
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications in vehicle body repair (NVQ or equivalent)
  • Ability to work well in a team
