Diagnostic Technician Vacancy - Bedford Main Dealer
  • Position: Diagnostic Technician 
  • Location: Bedford 
  • Basic Salary: £42,000 + Uncapped Bonus 
  • Individual time saved, team profit and CSI bonus
  • 45 hour working week
  • Weekends on a rota basis 
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • On-going training courses and career support. 
Our client is a prestigious dealership based within the Bedford area. They are currently looking for a highly skilled diagnostic technician to join their workshop team.

Responsibilities for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician: 
  • Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair including warranty approved work.
  • Servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction
  • Stay updated with manufacturer standards and training, contributing to a first-class service experience for every customer
  • Conducting MOT Tests (If qualified)
  • Supporting apprentice technicians 
Requirements for this Diagnostic Vehicle Technician role:
  • Proven experience within a main dealership or similar high-paced workshop environment
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, with strong diagnostic skills
  • MOT License is desirable but not essential as training is provided 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a supportive team setting
