Our client, one of the UK’s leading car dealer groups with sites nationwide, are currently looking to recruit a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover the Gloucestershire and surrounding region.

The position will be working from a fully equipped van provided by the company, travelling and working at a number of their customer sites in the Gloucestershire and surrounding region. You will be fully competent in the servicing and repair of vehicles to the highest standards. You will also have a thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical and electronic components of a vehicle, as well as be comfortable using the latest diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults.

In order to be eligible you will need to be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair as a minimum, and ideally have several years’ practical experience beyond your qualification as you will be required to work independently day-to-day. Any experience working in a similar mobile vehicle repair role would be highly advantageous however is non-essential. Overall you must be able to communicate well both verbally and in writing at all levels, have good customer facing skills, have an attention to detail, be able to work autonomously and manage your time effectively, have the ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repair and servicing, and remain calm under pressure. A UK driving licence for a minimum of 6 months with fewer than 9 penalty points is also essential.

For your hard work as a Mobile Vehicle Technician our client is offering:
  • OTE of £40,700 per annum
  • Overtime subject to availability paid at time and a half rate.
