HGV Technician Needed in Warwickshire
  • Salary: Up to £18 per hour + shift allowance
  • Hours: Various shifts available
Join an award-winning, multi-franchise dealer group as an HGV Technician. This role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the safety and performance of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities as a HGV Technician:
  • Perform major and minor repairs on vans and HGVs.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose and plan repairs using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and inventory.
  • Use Keyloop/Kerridge systems for accurate record-keeping.
  • Complete customer documentation, ensuring high service standards.
  • Carry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting as needed.
Requirements for this HGV Technician role:
  • NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI Level 3 qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance.
  • Experience in diagnostic and service repairs (experience with passenger cars also considered).
  • Knowledge of DVSA standards and ability to identify faulty components.
  • Full UK driving license for relevant vehicle classes.
  • Key skills: resilience, motivation, attention to detail, and time management.
