- Salary: £29,000 - £35,000 OTE
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:15pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am - 12:30pm
Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician:
- Carry out vehicle health checks and identify areas of concern
- Perform technical repairs and ensure compliance with manufacturer standards
- Carry out preparations for new vehicles
- Use correct tools, materials, and equipment for repairs
- Report any additional faults to the Service Manager/Workshop Controller
- Record all work details, including hours worked and material usage
- Ensure vehicles are protected and clean during service and repair
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and is completed within agreed deadlines
- Level 2 (minimum) Qualified Technician with experience in vehicle servicing and repair
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain high standards
- Excellent communication skills with team members and customers
