Vehicle Technician Needed for Bolton based Main Dealership
  • £32,000 Basic 
  • £36,000 - £38,000 OTE 
  • Monday to Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays 
  • Flexible start and finish times 
  • Saturdays paid at higher overtime rate 
  • Uncapped monthly bonuses £500 made a month on average
Our client, a reputable main dealership in Bolton, is seeking a skilled and experienced MOT Tester/ Vehicle Technician to join their team. If you are passionate about automotive technology and take pride in delivering exceptional service, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

Salary for a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:
  • £32,000 per annum
  • Bonus structure in place
  • OTE (On Target Earnings): up to £38,000 per annum
Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:
  • Conducting MOT tests accurately and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Identifying and diagnosing faults, providing recommendations for repairs and replacements
  • Carrying out servicing and maintenance tasks on vehicles as required
  • Performing general mechanical repairs and adjustments
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and friendly interactions
Requirements for this Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester:
  • Qualified MOT Tester with valid certification
  • Previous experience as a Technician within the automotive industry
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and maintenance procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
