Master Technician for Main Dealer Opportunity in Preston
  • Location: Preston
  • Salary: Up to £38,000 basic; £48,000 OTE - Dependent on experience
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday with a Saturday rota
We are currently seeking a Master Technician to join a successful main dealer team in Preston. If you have a passion for working across various automotive brands and hold an NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds Level 3), along with additional manufacturer-specific training, this is a great opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities for a Master Technician:
  • Diagnose complex issues across a wide range of vehicle systems, as well as performing routine services and repairs
  • Ensure high-quality repairs with a first-time fix, delighting customers every time
  • Communicate with customers to fully understand their vehicle concerns
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest in vehicle technology, including EV, through continuous learning
  • Provide technical support and assistance to colleagues
  • Conduct video vehicle health checks to highlight any issues and opportunities to upsell
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
To be a Successful Master Technician, You Will Need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent
  • A full UK driving licence
  • The drive and ambition to continue developing as a technician
