Service Vehicle Technician Required in Croydon, Surrey!
  • Basic Salary: £30k - £35k, Flexible Depending on Experience
  • Bonus Structure: + £5K Individual productivity bonus
  • Hours: Tuesday – Saturday 08:00am – 17:30pm + Lunch Break (Sunday and Monday are your new weekend)
  • Location: Independent Garage, Based in the Croydon Area
Our client, an Established Independent Garage who is part of a large Automotive Garage Group based in the Croydon area, is looking for an experienced Service Vehicle Technician to join their team!

As a Service Vehicle Technician for our client, you will be responsible for performing servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. You will need experience working with multiple makes and models and be comfortable using the latest diagnostic equipment. Don't worry our client has Vehicle Technicians capable of doing Cambelts, Timing Chains and heavier vehicle mechanics.

Key Duties of this Vehicle Technician:
  • Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to a high standard.
  • Conducting vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
  • Completing work within given timeframes and ensuring quality standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all work completed.
  • Participating in manufacturer training programs to further develop your skills.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations.
What We Expect from You as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Experience as a qualified Service Vehicle Technician.
  • An MOT Testing licence is beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience working on a variety of makes and models of vehicles is desirable.
  • Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
The successful Vehicle Technician candidate will be fully qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance Repair. Ideally, your background will be from an independent garage or main car dealership. You will need a strong work ethic and professional attitude for this rewarding career opportunity.
