As the Aftersales Manager, you will have a strong background in managing workshops ensuring productivity and efficiency targets are achieved. You will be a proactive member of the management team, responsible for the Aftersales Department and reporting to the Group Aftersales Manager. You will oversee and motivate a team of Vehicle Technicians and Aftersales Advisors. You will be required to run an efficient and professional operation to ensure complete customer satisfaction through the maximum utilisation of workshop facilities and the efficient sale of labour. You will greet customers in the Aftersales Department and book their vehicles in for associated repair work, have extensive liaison with the workshop to chase work in progress, up-sell on additional products and services where possible, and keep customers informed of the progress of their vehicle whilst taking payments for work completed.
The successful Aftersales Manager candidate will ideally live within the Poole/Bournemouth region and will have a track record in the Aftersales Department, whether this be as a well-served Service Manager looking for their next step up in their career, or a well-experienced Senior Service Advisor/Assistant Service Manager seeking progression. You will need to be effective in managing and supporting colleagues and have the drive and determination to maintain policies that constantly improve customer satisfaction and my client's reputation. You will need to be IT literate and any experience with the Pinnacle dealer management system would be of great benefit.
