Technician & MOT Tester Required in Wimbledon for a Well-Established Independent Garage
  • Pay: £38,000 - £45,000 Basic with annual pay reviews every year without fail
  • Hours: 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday (1-hour breaks throughout the day)
  • Every Saturday morning but Saturdays on a rota can be entertained for the right individual
Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for your next opportunity? Do you already have an MOT license, or are you eager to gain one? If so, our client, a highly regarded Independent Garage, has an exciting opening for you!

Key Responsibilities of a Technician & MOT Tester:
  • Carry out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to a high standard
  • Perform MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations (if qualified)
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, meeting both customer and business expectations
  • Liaise with the service team to provide accurate updates on vehicle repairs
  • Maintain high workshop standards and adhere to health & safety regulations
What Our Client is Looking For in a Technician With an MOT Tester:
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 or equivalent)
  • MOT Testing License is desirable but not essential – our client is willing to put the right candidate through their MOT qualification
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
Salary & Benefits for this Technician / MOT Tester Role:
  • Competitive basic salary of £38,000 - £45,000, depending on experience
