  • Commercial Fleet Company Location: Erith, Kent
  • Basic Salary: Circa £36,000 per annum + Overtime
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (No Weekends!)
Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established Commercial Fleet Company? Our client a national fleet company in Erith, Kent, is currently seeking a skilled and qualified Service Vehicle Technician to join their growing team.

The Role As a Service Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a fleet of specialist commercial vehicles. This role offers variety, job security, and the chance to work in a well-equipped, modern workshop with a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles
  • Conducting preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability
  • Performing MOT preparation, inspections, and testing where required
  • Working efficiently to ensure minimal vehicle downtime
  • Using diagnostic tools to identify and rectify faults
  • Completing job cards and relevant paperwork accurately
The Ideal Vehicle Technician Candidate:
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair)
  • Experience working on Commercial Vehicles preferred but not essential – Technicians with passenger car experience will be considered!
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  •  A valid UK driving licence (HGV licence is an advantage but not required)
