  • Salary: Up to £28,000 (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday mornings on a rota basis
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Aftersales Advisor to join a highly respected main dealership in the Bury St Edmunds area. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic team, responsible for both Parts and Service with potential for role development and growth over time.

As an Aftersales Advisor, you will be at the heart of the dealership, liaising with customers to ensure a smooth and efficient aftersales experience. Your duties will include handling customer queries, advising on parts and service, scheduling appointments, and managing the needs of our valued customers. This is a varied and rewarding role, where your expertise will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the overall success of the dealership.

Key Responsibilities as a Aftersales Advisor:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries regarding parts and services.
  • Provide customers with accurate information about repair and service options, including costs and timescales.
  • Advise on parts availability and work with the parts department to ensure stock levels are adequate.
  • Schedule service appointments and manage the workflow effectively.
  • Handle any aftersales issues promptly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the aftersales process.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks related to service and parts are completed efficiently.
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience within a customer service or aftersales role, ideally within the automotive industry. You should be a confident communicator with a passion for delivering exceptional service, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of vehicle parts and servicing would be beneficial, but a willingness to learn and grow in the role is equally important.

Key Skills and Attributes needed for this Aftersales Advisor:
  • Previous experience in an aftersales or customer service environment (automotive industry experience preferred).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment.
  • Good knowledge of automotive parts and services is a plus.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to learn and develop in the role.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
