Bodyshop Technician Needed for independent Accident Repair Centre Near Blackburn

  • Location: Near Blackburn
  • Working Hours: 45 hours Monday to Friday 8:00am-5.30pm, optional Saturday overtime. 
  • Salary: £37,000 – Realistic OTE of £55,000 per year

Our client, an established family owned group are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Bodyshop Technicians to join a growing team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong aptitude for vehicle repair and restoration, particularly on commercial vehicles, and who are passionate about delivering high-quality workmanship. They are seeking applications from candidates who hold both Panel Beater and Paint Sprayer experience. 

Key Responsibilities of the Bodyshop Technician:
  • Carry out mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated vehicles
  • Dismantle vehicles and prepare them for repair work
  • Perform inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostics
  • Liaise with the parts team to order necessary replacement parts
  • Re-assemble vehicles to their pre-accident condition
  • Plan and manage your workload to meet agreed timescales
  • Conduct vehicle painting and use appropriate tools for prepping and repairing
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and adhere to safety protocols

The successful Bodyshop will have:
  • Strong experience in vehicle bodywork repair and painting
  • Qualified to manage a varied workload with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction
  • Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
  • A team player with a passion for high-quality workmanship
  • A commitment to upholding the latest technical knowledge
