Business Manager/Sales Controller required in Cheltenham.
  • SALARY: £25,000 basic salary plus performance-related commission with a £42,500+ uncapped annual on-target-earnings.
  • HOURS: Mon to Sat with one scheduled day off in the week and one in two Sun.

A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a Business Manager/Sales Controller within our client’s franchise approved car dealership in Cheltenham.
 
Reporting to the Sales Manager and working as part of a small sales team, as a Business Manager/Sales Controller your key responsibilities will include:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Oversee the sales team through our client's sales process ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and provide detailed information about pricing, specifications, and financing options to customers.
  • Negotiate sales agreements and finalise vehicle purchases, ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of sales documentation and contracts.
  • Stay updated on the latest car models, features, and industry trends.
In order to be eligible you will ideally have similar business management/sales controller experience within a franchise approved dealer environment, be FCA accredited, and have a comprehensive understanding of financial legislation. Our client is also willing to consider Car Sales Executives with a strong 3+ year track record looking to take the next step in their career. You will need to have a desire to produce results, be a strong team leader, have a commitment to excellence, be able to build outstanding customer relationships, and have a genuine passion to work for the company and the manufacturer. You will need to be brand focused, capable of working independently and have the energy and commitment to seek every sales opportunity. A UK driving license with minimal points is essential at this stage.
 
For your hard work as a Business Manager/Sales Controller our client is offering:
  • £25,000 basic salary plus performance-related commission with a £42,500+ uncapped annual on-target-earnings.
  • Personal company car.
  • 31 days annual holiday allowance (any bank holidays worked you gain a day off in lieu to compensate for it) with your holiday allowance increasing over the length of service.
