Our motor trade client is a well-established and reputable Used Car Dealership, committed to providing high-quality vehicles and excellent customer service. Due to continued growth and success, they are looking for a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their team. They offer a supportive working environment and a realistic, rewarding bonus scheme. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the vehicles they sell.

Your duties within this Vehicle Technician will include:
  • Performing warranty work on vehicles, ensuring any issues are addressed promptly and to a high standard.
  • Carrying out preparation (prep) of vehicles before sale, ensuring they are mechanically sound and ready for customers.
  • Completing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to ensure every vehicle meets our high standards before it leaves the lot.
  • Undertaking extended warranty work, servicing and maintaining vehicles to keep them in top condition.
  • Carrying out general service and maintenance, diagnosing faults, and repairing vehicles in line with manufacturer guidelines.

What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in the automotive industry, ideally within a used car dealership or service environment.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work on a wide range of vehicles.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence & Your Own Tools.
