  • Hours: Days, lates and nights available
Our client, a commercial main dealership, is looking for a qualified HGV Technician to join their team. This role involves servicing and repairing a variety of heavy goods vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring the highest quality of work. You will work both independently and within a team, making teamwork and efficiency essential.

Your Responsibilities as a HGV Technician
  • Conduct major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and other vehicles.
  • Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance (e.g., tyre rotation, oil changes).
  • Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
  • Collaborate with the repair team to diagnose issues and plan repairs.
  • Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
  • Provide emergency roadside repair services when required.
  • Complete all documentation and warranty claims efficiently.
  • Assist in training new recruits and apprentices.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in HGV Maintenance.
  • Previous experience as a HGV Technician with a strong technical background.
  • Computer literacy and confidence using diagnostic tools and software.
