Diagnostic Technician - Large Main Dealer Franchise in Oldham
  • Basic Salary up to £37,440 Depending on experience + bonus! 
  • Annual Leave: 31 Days Holiday Per Year (including Bank Holidays) 
  • Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30-17:00 + optional overtime 
  • Must have City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in vehicle repair

Key Responsibilities as a Diagnostic Technician:
  • Conduct in-depth diagnostic assessments, pinpointing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
  • Utilise cutting-edge diagnostic tools and software to accurately identify complex problems.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the service team, providing timely and efficient solutions to customer concerns.
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies, attending relevant training sessions.
  • Mentor and guide junior technicians, sharing your knowledge to enhance the team's skills.
  • Maintain meticulous records of repairs, parts used, and labour time to ensure streamlined workflow and outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Uphold high standards of quality, professionalism, and customer service.
Requirements for a Diagnostic Technician:
  • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance. 
  • Proven experience as a Technician in an automotive dealership.
  • Advanced knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems, including electronic and mechanical components.
  • Proficiency in utilising diagnostic tools and software to resolve complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical staff members/customers. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Valid driving license and a clean driving record.
