HGV Technician Vacancy - Wellingborough Truck and Van Dealership
  • Basic Salary up to £42,000 depending on experience
  • OTE at £46,000
  • Week 1: 6:00am - 14:30pm
  • Week 2: 14:00pm - 22:30pm plus Saturday morning

They are seeking a skilled and dedicated HGV Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of their clients' fleets. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate technician looking to make a positive impact in a thriving and reputable company.

Responsibilities of a HGV Technician:
  • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles
  • Carrying out road tests
  • Performing emergency road repairs
  • Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards
  • Diagnoses of vehicles utilising computer based diagnostic equipment
  • Carry out scheduled fleet maintenance tasks
  • Preparation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspections
  • Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication
What our client expects from their HGV Technician:
  • High level of technical knowledge and ability in mechanical repair
  • Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Previous HGV Technician experience would be required
  • Industry qualifications achieved to a minimum of Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or mechanical engineering
